My short fiction is mainstream SF, and I've completed one novel that's space opera. I don't discount the possibility of working in fantasy at some time in the future, though my skeptical outlook makes me leery of supernatural treatments.
My reading tends to be either nonfiction or SF. I read a lot of SF as a child, and recently got back into it by reading the new space opera, a lot out of England. I'm now branching out into other kinds of recent SF, to get more of a lay of the land.
I'm also very interested in comics, of all genres.
