I grew up reading Tolkien, Lewis and Le Guin; then spent my twenties discovering Quick, Lindsey and Deveraux. Today, my reading is mostly in urban fantasy and paranormal romance, with authors like Patricia Briggs, Gail Carriger, Charlaine Harris and Vicki Petterson being favourites. I'm also getting more into reading various romance genres, including Harlequin contemporaries and erotica. I've been writing since 2000, with mostly short stories published in Australia. In 2009, I sold my urban fantasy trilogy Dream of Asarlai to HarperVoyager in Australia. First two books are already out, third book to be released in January.
