I live and write in Washington State. I was a founding member of the DC Trans Coalition,  which helped install protections for transgender people. I have a B.A. in English from Syracuse University and also went through a master's program in English literature there. A member of the Pacific Northwest Writer's Association,  I write about acclimating to the Northwest as a born and bred Easterner at Transplantportation.com,  and about popular culture at I Fry Mine in Butter.com. I also have been a guest blogger for Bitch Magazine,  writing about the collision between pop culture and politics. I have pieces in SPLIT Quarterly and Twisted Dreams. I read voraciously,  and want to write stories I don't see anywhere else for people who would gain something by reading them.
