I am an avid reader, even more so since I purchased a Nook, and really enjoy how e-books have helped me branch out and discover new genres. I love a good romance and anything that will make me laugh.
As for writing, I finished my first manuscript in November 2010 as part of the NaNoWriMo. Since then, I have taken time away from the manuscript with hopes to approach it with a fresh set of eyes, it is only now that I am beginning the editing process. Scary! To appease the characters in my head, I am also working on the second manuscript in the series.
For years, as I tossed around the idea of writing a novel, I imagined I would write historical romance... How silly of me. My characters had other ideas and despite months of research, plot notes, pictures and scene outlines, they decided their story was a paranormal romance. I can now be found having conversations with characters as we argue over everything from coffee to corsets and more.
