My mother taught me to read before I was two years old. I'll read anything that holds still long enough. For years, I re-read old favorites over and over again instead of buying new books. Now, thanks to the internet book-loving community, I'm broadening my reading tastes and learning from many more amazing writers. I dabbled in writing throughout school, but stopped in college and didn't pick it up again until years later when I woke up with the characters and basics of the plot in my head and I had to write it to find out how it ended. Now, I have four in various states of completion and two half-written and vauge ideas floating around for more.
