I balance my reading and writing with my teaching (madly juggle). I write every day. I'm a linear writer, and write from beginning to end--never out of order. I focus on deep character development, fun and complex relationships, and flawed characters. People say my books are on the gritty side. Maybe so. I love magic and romance and include both in all my books.
I'm an avid reader and I read a variety of things. Some is book research, some if just for fun. My to be read stack is really a small mountain.
