I've written two contemporary crime novels set in Chicago and am currently working on a historical thriller noir novel set in 1590s England. I'll read about anything, but crime fiction of most stripes takes up the bulk of my reading time, a little nonfiction, usually history, to cleanse the palate now and then, and occassional "serious" literature when it's not too full of itself.
