My reading tastes span the gamut; genre doesn't matter as long as it's a good story, though I'm drawn to darker tales with antiheros in the starring role. My writing started off with adult dystopian sci-fi, but my love of YA won out. My current WIP is a supernatural cyberpunk with heavy Eastern cultural overtones, although I've also finished a post-apocalyptic YA sci-fi focused on the devastating effects an alien war has on a girl and her family when she's turned into a living weapon against mankind. I have the classic curse of too many ideas and not enough time to write them all, but I can try anyway. I'm also utterly obsessed with Kowloon Walled City, and reinventions of it often show up in my stories.
