Melissa is a twenty-something living and working in Brooklyn. This is her first completed novel.
Author's Note:
Thanks so much for reading. This is the prologue and the first two chapters. In this draft, I'm using an older, more abstract version of the prologue which is more about the capturing "voice" of the novel and less about shoving useful information down the reader's throat. I hope you enjoy reading!
