About the Book:

While on his campaign tour in his well-equipped bus, the President of the United States gets delayed to his next destination due to a storm. During the night the 'Big One' hits the western coast and nearly half of California drops into the ocean. Believing the President was in L.A. as scheduled, the country tries to recover from the quake while government agencies fight for the top dog position. The President takes advantage of the situation, and goes incognito to see how the government will react to the crisis.

About the Author:

Wayne "Chet" Norris writes books as a hobby, just to have something to do in his spare time. As of now, he has written and published two books and will continue writing in the future. He loves writing mysteries, especially historical/documented mysteries, and discovering little known facts that evaded the main stream. Wayne lives in Oklahoma, with two adopted daughters, but writes about places he's lived at, providing the reader with a sense of visual connection to the surroundings.

Author's Note:

This is a work in progress. I think this is only about 1/3 of the book (give or take a few hundred pages). So far, it's over 50,000 words and still going...
