About the Book:

When the Herald arrived in New York and delivered its ultimatum, humanity had one year to prepare for the arrival of its masters, the Visitors. This is the story of their preparations, gathered in secret for posterity. For the first time, it reveals the birth and strategies of the three conspiracies of that year: the Golden Circle, the True Church and the Enduring Hope, as well as the secret discovery that powered them and the Visitors: the cores powered by Lie-Tech. Mostly importantly however, it reveals the personal stories of the men and women who shaped events over those eight days where humanity hung in the balance, including the brave rangers who fought the Visitors toe-to-toe.

About the Author:

Timothy Maguire is a young author of Science Fiction and Fantasy. An avid gamer, he often tries to create stories that are as unique as the worlds on his table.

Author's Note:

This is very much written in the style of World War Z, consisting of interviews with the witnesses to the events of the story. As such, it's very different from the usual take. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it.
