About the Book:

C.A. Thompson leaves his daughter on Beta Hydri IV, planning to return in a few days, but the Scimenon Realm invades the Earthen colonies that day and he is taken back in stasis. He is found adrift in an alien ship by another species called Ghosts. He awakens from stasis, the only survivor from his ship and no one can speak his language. When he arrives four years later at the Ghost's world, Medimos, his is thrown into the streets to survive on his own. He makes a friend, Kaliie, who learns his language and then tells him the Three Day War was over 25 years ago. C.A. is crushed and only wants to see his daughter again.

About the Author:

L. K. Pinaire is an Indiana University graduate in chemistry. He and his wife, Peggy Pinaire, have raised two sons and reside in southern Indiana.
