About the Book:
Novel summary: (The Forsakens). Divinity Logan is turning seventeen tomorrow. Her and sixty other girls will be sent to the Insem-Unit to birth children--the highest honor to ensure the survival of the human race. But Divinity's not like the other girls. She has memories of a Birth Mother, and a world quite unlike the gray, concrete one she's lived in her whole life. Instead, she dreams of a world that's living and green, where food is planted in the ground. She has one chance to escape. One chance to leave and try to find the truth about her Birth Mother, and this strange new world. If she's caught, she risks punishment, possibly death, or worse, to wander the labyrinths of the stone forest as a Forsaken.
