About the Book:
Hannelore has taught first grade long enough to see her former students grow up and become the parents of her current class. Like many people, she has a long list of New Years Resolutions that never quite panned out, and a quiet life that never quite turned into the adventure and romance she once fantasized about.
Until now.
Except fantasies are safe, and the new world of vampires, shifters, and nymphs is anything but. Changed against her will, now Hannelore is the key to a puzzle buried deep in the heart of secrets, lies, and power struggles started long before she was even born.
Hannelore has very little time to untangle the threads of an ancient and deadly bargain woven tight around her, her town, and the vampire she has come to love, or the people she loves will pay the price with their lives.
About the Author:
Gretchen's an artist and a writer, blah blah blah, but really it all boils down to this: When she's not reading, she's getting into trouble.
Author's Note:
My heartfelt thanks for taking a chance and reading this. I hope you enjoy this story and that it makes you laugh. If you chose to review it, I appreciate the feedback. Anything that can make the writing stronger gives the story a better chance of brightening someone's day and that is my main motivation in writing it. Since this is a first draft, I'm mostly concerned with big picture issues like pacing, plot, and character. Let me know what you think could make this better!
