About the Book:
Sixteen year old Honey was just told that she’s exactly like Michael Yves. A compliment, if he wasn't one of the most notorious terrorists in the galaxy.
Five hundred years into the future, Honey will sign away everything in order to settle scores with the terrorist group that killed her mother. When she enlists in the galaxy’s peacekeeping force, she is given a new home and family that challenges her beliefs about the worth of other planets. Single-mindedly, she barrels on through classes and arduous training, until the day it all stops, the day when Michael Yves appears.
As he threatens to destroy the people and places Honey has begun to care for, she is forced to take a good hard look at the person she is turning into. Face to face with Yves, she sees the destructive path she has begun to walk, but is she already past the point of no return, or is there a chance for her to turn back?
About the Author:
Emily Wallmann is a junior in college studying engineering, and writing when she has free time. This is her first novel, written outside of NaNoWriMo, which she actively participates in when she gets the time. Youngheart is the first in a trilogy.
I'm still sorting out genres, so I'd welcome comments on that. Otherwise, any comments you have are much appreciated!
