About the Book:
Someone wants her dead…
As the hottest female race car driver on her uncle’s team, Sami Gentile will let nothing get in the way of her success, not even threatening letters and photos. Until her six-year-old niece is targeted.
Despite their past…
Retired Special Forces Grayson Finch runs a successful private security firm. After their breakup ten years ago, Gray is pretty sure Sami still hates him but that won’t stop him from keeping her safe—even it means standing guard while Sami does a photo shoot in revealing lingerie for one of her sponsors. The things a man will do!
A race to survive…
Although Sami promised herself she wouldn’t be duped again by Gray, her attraction to him is hotter than ever. Try as she might, fighting her feelings for him only backfires and while Gray struggles to keep things professional, he can’t deny how badly he wants to take her to bed and finally tame the woman he never quite got over.
About the Author:
Born and raised in Elmhurst, Illinois, just 20 miles outside of Chicago, I spent a lot of time with my nose in a book or notebook. I thrived in my English classes (math, not so much). I love watching movies and watching a story unfold. I wrote my first "screenplay" at 9 years old when my dad brought home Pink Floyd's The Wall and I spent hours trying to write my own movie based on the songs. I love music and doggies.
My work is mostly romantic fiction, but I am also working on a nonfiction memoir about my mom. With influences such as Sandra Brown, Sophie Kinsella, Jennifer Weiner and Lauren Weisberger, my heroines are real women with real flaws, fears, hopes and dreams.
