About the Book:

How long would you wait for your soul mate? For Janine Anderson it has been over 300 years and still counting. Struggling to remain anonymous for that length of time has made her a solitary person. She has kept everyone at a distance to protect her secret. That is until she meets Dan Mitchell. He is a very persistent individual who will not take no for an answer. As Dan works to chip away at the fortress Janine has built around her she finds herself allowing it. There is no doubt that there is something about Dan that calls to her but is it the fulfillment of the promise made to her all those years ago? Deciding to take a chance and let someone in for the first time couldn't come at a more inopportune time as Janine finds the true promise may be coming to pass. Should she give up the future for her past? Or is the past just that.....the past?

About the Author:

This is Jamie Grubb's first attempt at writing a full novel. Though writing is a passion for her now that has not always been the case. .Back in high school it took every effort to complete the English homework assigned her. Never had she thought it would be her hearts desire as an adult. So with no formal training she is attempting to make a dream become reality and enthrall audiences with her fantasy world. Jamie currently resides in Wisconsin with her two children. In between homework, practice schedules and just being a mom everyday she finds time to work on bringing her dream to reality.

Author's Note:

First off thank you for stopping by to check out my fantasy world. This is a work I started quite a few years ago and am attempting to bring it to fruition. I would like any and all feedback. Bring out the good, the bad and the ugly. It can only help me improve. The story is not yet complete but will be soon. Also it has not been fully edited and I am aware of quite a few mistakes already present. Please feel free to point out any you may find though as I may not be aware of all of them.
