About the Book:
5.50 AM. Salt’, the second of several preludes in the 'New Amsterdam' saga, is a short exert from a man's diary upon discovering a body on the beach. This discovery leads him to reflect on the urban decay that the metropolis is facing and sets in motion a metaphysical struggle within himself.
About the Author:
Eddie Blanche was born in London in 1987. After making submissions for screen and radio to the BBC, he is now focusing on the production of his first novel.
Author's Note:
'5.50 AM. Salt' features in 'Tales from the Sprawl', a collection of short stories from fictious authors set in the dystopian universe of New Amsterdam. These short stories compliment the first novel in the series ‘The Wicked and Proud’, intending to expand the universe as well as supplying the reader with place, names and events relevant to the main story.
