At all of the writing conferences I have been to, writers are clear on the fact that they "need to be on Twitter" in order start getting their name and their work in front of readers. However, writers don't always know how to jump into the conversations that Twitter is so well known for.

We think it's often easiest on social media to learn by example, so we put together a list of authors to follow on Twitter. You can subscribe to it, or you can browse and individual authors that are in your genre or who seem like good tweeters. Check out how they manage to promote their work and share news about promos and new books, all the while engaging their followers and fellow authors.
