Nano 2011 is two months away. This would be the fifth year. I've won Nano 2007-2010. As always, I dream my storylines a month or two in advance. Next month is my prep month for research and character sketches. So I'm stuck right now with two ideas and need your help on which one I should go with this fall with your vote.

1. Arctic Blast, an Alaskan eco-thriller that deals with volcanoes. Remember the European volcanic eruption, a few years ago? Well think of this one in North America.

2. Countdown to Zero, a romantic suspense/thriller, that I've recently thought of last month. Kendall Hart has 72 hours to prove her innocense, before she's sentenced t o death, and while under house arrest.

Thanks everyone!

Well, I'm all about the eco-thrillers at the moment, so give me the arctic blast!

Thanks for your vote. I would keep it in mind. I wish I had more voters over here.

I would say the second but only because of one reason: it has a character and conflict, which I know are way easier to write about during NaNo.

What would the first one *actually* be about? Someone rushing to save someone's life? Saving a town? Preventing the disaster? Those would all be interesting, and I would definitely be interested in reading that but not knowing who's involved in the first one makes it hard to more than a cursory interest in it.

J Boone, Arctic Blast would be about Fallon Carr in Alaska's Aleutian Islands. She would be trying to stop an volcanic eruption to create smog in North America, like the European volcanic eruption a few years back, causing smog to travel.
