It's been several years since I have signed up for Book Country, and, I am ashamed to say, I am just now getting to know the site. Life kind of took center stage for a few years. Now, I am back to writing and getting to know other writers.

I have completed my second manuscript and hope to shop this one around for agents. I have had it professionally edited once and am currently having a second editor look at it. I am now looking for a few beta readers as well.

The book is called Life Before Me.

Life Before Me, set during the Vietnam era, is a layered narrative of prejudice, war, family, and faith, told in the alternating voices of-ambitious Air Force fighter pilot, Theodore Bailey; and the love of his life, the introspective Abigail Sullivan. It is a powerful story of redemption, love, and forgiveness.
