Any one knows under what genre 'Kite Runner', 'Ten Thousand Slpendid Suns', and 'Three Cups of Tea' fall under?

I haven't read Three Cups of Tea, but the others I would call Literary Fiction. That is a genre of its own, it's true, but not usually considered genre fiction.

I agree with Laura. I haven't read 'Three Cups of Tea', but from what I just googled, it almost looks like non-fiction.

Those books are all what publishers would call "literary fiction".
