Does what you eat affect your writing, or does it just put you in the mood for writing? Can it be that not eating stimulates your grey cells? For me a large bowl of tomato soup does the trick - then the words start to fly... What is yours?

I don't think I'm affected by what I eat, but I am affected by whether I eat.

Unless it's first thing in the morning and my stomach hasn't woken up yet (my favorite writing time), I need to have eaten in order to write.

Hot tea or coffee. Every time. Decaf.

I try not to eat much before reading/writing/the book club meeting starts.  I tend to get drowsy and I don't want to yawn in front of people while they're sharing their insights about a book lol.
