Short Bio:
An ex-Authonomite, I have two fabulous girls, plus a whippet who totally runs our house.
I have worked with children since leaving school and LOVE the school holidays as they give me the time to do all the writing and painting I want!
I live on the outskirts of London, but have lived in Buckinghamshire and just outside Los Angeles. I have a dream of moving to a rural house with a large garden in Norfolk. Then I can have more whippets and a flock of Indian Runner Ducks, as well as an Aga and a secluded writing studio full of books, where I will be able to lock myself away and read and write to my hearts content....
The best way for me to spend a day is reading a whole book, without the disturbance of having to make lunches and dinners.
I paint large acrylic canvasses (not quite up to Monet standards) and bake (just call me Mary, or Delia or Nigella if you want) and now I write too.
