Short Bio:
I began my writing career (if you want to call it that) with a story published in the literary magazine Panurge, edited by childrens' author David Almond and novelist John Murray. More stories of mine were subsequently published in Panurge, including one in their anthology of comic stories: Move over Waxblinder. Around the same time I began a literary relationship with Alan Ross, who in subsequent years published my stories in the London Magazine. At the same time I was contacted by Jonathan Cape with a view to publishing my first novel and a collection of stories. However, a month later there was a "Coup" at Cape, my literary editor there lost her job, and my novel was dropped. The novel, which was typewritten and did not exist in digital form, was subsequently lost on its submission to another publisher. More or less destitute, I returned to full-time work.
