Short Bio:
Finally retired after a 32 year career teaching high school English, finished a spiritual quest memoir, and had it professionally edited once. Made the suggested revision, cutting it down to around 77, 000 words and limiting its scope to the core adventure in which I joined a Korean enlightenment cult, met with excitement, enchantment and peril, and eventually left it vastly changed. My challenge and struggle now is partially about legal matters. If I publish the book as it is, I will most likely be thwarted by the legal team of the organization I am exposing. So I have been told to find a publisher whose legal team will defend me even before the book is published. I wonder if the intention of my original spiritual memoir has been sacrificed as I have made the manuscript more of a pointed expose' intended to capture a wider reading demographic and to make it more marketable to an agent and a publisher.
