Toi write a good story without poking a few needles into political and corporate hot air balloons would be somewhat boring. Likewise, digging out diverse historical events and finding new ways to thread them together is joyous. This scratches a particularly poignant itch when the events are perpetrated by pompus professionals (pass on alliteration, please). After experiencing his first earthquake up close and personal, Robert decided to write a book to update design standards, whose principles have been generally adopted. Similarly, after seeing the documentary, Rape of Europa, Robert became intrigued with looted art and cultural artifacts, deciding to incorporate this subject into a book, which led to his first: The Puzzle Horse. Currently, he lives in South Carolina with his wife, Gere, and their Great Dane where he writes, studies the piano and cooks.
