About the Book:
Dr. Richard Pandamus is a divorced and well respected psychiatrist in the affluent southern California city of Santa Barbara. When one of his patients, a young sex addict born with an unusual anomaly, is murdered, the idyllic life he knew turns into a hellish nightmare. The investigating detectives differ on his guilt or innocence. The Reverend Nostrum and the Church of the Religious Right, an anti-psychiatry right wing sect, come to Santa Barbara, and with the aid of a local TV station and newspaper, accuse him of murder. When he becomes the prime suspect, attempting to stay one step ahead of the investigation he turns to the city’s lovely mayor, a friend of his ex-wife. Soon, he realized he must come up with his own plan to catch the killer.
About the Author:
Peter Miles is a practicing psychiatrist for 20 years with skills in medication management, psychotherapy and hypnosis. This is his first novel in a series with Dr. Richard Pandamus as the main character.
This is a first novel that has gone through many revisions. I'd like to know if it catches your interest, has a compelling story and character that make you want to keep reading.
